The Saudi Oil minister Al Naimi had stated that current oil prices are very high and his country will work to bring down the price. Naimi had also added that Saudi Arabia has the capacity to boost output if and when requested by its customers.

Saudi Arabia’s oil minister Ali Naimi told reporters in Tokyo on Tuesday that current oil prices are “too high” and need to come down. North Sea Brent crude, which traded as high as $128.40/barrel on March 1, were trading at $112.56/b at 0930 GMT Tuesday.
